Registration is now open for Regions in Focus 2023, which is being held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Monaghan between 7-9th February 2023.

As we rise to meet the complex set of contemporary challenges we face – climate change, the energy transition, demographic shifts, and others- the question can be asked, what role can our regions play? It turns out quite a lot!
The Association of Irish Regions (AIR), the representative body for the three Regional Assemblies, is hosting its first Regional Seminar and Training Event, to explore the role of regions in navigating present and future challenges. This event will be a platform to hear and discuss regional perspectives for:
- Policy Making
- Economic and Spatial Development
- Role of Regional Assemblies in strong and sustainable regional development
Moderated by Newstalk host, Mr. Jonathan Healy, this event will bring leaders from the regional development space together, with the keynote address to be given by journalist and environmental activist, Mr John Gibbons.
