The Northern and Western Regional Assembly meeting took place on Friday 25th April 2025 at Ballina Municipal District (Mayo County Council) Chamber, Ballina, Co. Mayo.
At the meeting, Cllr Jarlath Munnelly, Cathaoirleach of the NWRA, Conall McGettigan, Acting Director of the NWRA and the Regional Assembly elected members welcomed three new Councillors that have recently been nominated to the Assembly by their respective Local Authorities:
- Cllr Brian Carr – Donegal County Council
- Cllr Marie Therese Duffy – Mayo County Council
- Cllr Trevor Smith – Cavan County Council
Update from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII)
At the meeting, Cathaoirleach of the NWRA Cllr Jarlath Munnelly thanked Geraldine Fitzpatrick from Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), for providing members with an update on the National roads and Greenways projects in the Northern and Western region.
